America needs your vote on the "Time Out on ObamaCare" Act, bill number S.281, authored by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX).

This amendment would COMPLETELY halt the ObamaCare health care nightmare from being implemented pending a final judicial ruling on its constitutionality.

ObamaCare is bad medicine for America because it kills jobs, bankrupts the government, drives up everyone's health insurance costs, puts bureaucratic “boards” in charge of rationing care, and ruins the world's best health care system – NOT A PERFECT SYSTEM, BUT THE WORLD'S BEST!  The 2800+ page ObamaCare bill was INTENTIONALLY set up with hidden agendas and “costs” which were not to be revealed to the public until AFTER the November 2012 elections.  There are currently 26 states in court to repeal this bill, and currently the number of waivers granted stands at 1400+ including seven entire states.  Most of these waivers have gone to Obama constituents who SUPPORTED ObamaCare, but do not want to suffer under its oppression.  More than 1400 waivers have already been issued to businesses and unions, AARP, more than 50% of all waivers have gone to unions, 20% of all waivers have gone to Ms. Pelosi’s district, and Mr. Reid’s whole state has been waivered, ALL supporters of ObamaCare.  This is CRONYISM in it’s ugliest form!  The sheer numbers of waiver requests has been so large that the House and Human Services (HHS) announced they were shutting down all waiver requests as of September, 2011, but appears to still be issuing waivers because of public outcry.  HHS has still refused to release details or criteria on how waivers are granted and refused.  Selective implementation and enforcement of ObamaCare OR ANY LAW is the first sign of tyranny.  A government empowered to determine arbitrarily who may operate outside the rule of law inevitably leads to corruption, ultimately resulting in tyranny.

Polls have consistently shown that a solid majority of Americans want Washington to reverse the GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER of health care and adopt a patient-centered approach.  The Obama Administration is rushing to implement this unpopular law in the face of the opposition of a majority of the American public, a majority of the House, a near-majority of the Senate, and a majority of the states, which latter are suing to have the law stayed on constitutional grounds.  Obama’s Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has found that Obama’s promise of 4 MILLION new jobs is false, and CBO estimates that ObamaCare will ACTUALLY destroy more than 800,000 EXISTING jobs.  Before casting his vote in favor of ObamaCare, Sen. Kent Conrad, North Dakota Democrat, described it as "a Ponzi scheme of the first order, the kind of thing that Bernie Madoff would have been proud of"(sic).

Since December, 2010, two federal district judges, in Virginia and Florida, have declared unconstitutional ObamaCare's "individual mandate" requiring all U.S. residents to purchase health insurance (the linch-pin of the entire, 2801-page law).  The rulings in these and other cases are being appealed by the Obama Administration's lawyers. The judge in the Florida case made clear that he is effectively ordering the government to stop enforcing the law on the 26 states who are parties to the lawsuit; yet the Obama administration has indicated it WILL NOT halt implementation.

To avoid wasting more time and money imposing costly burdens on individuals and employers that may eventually be ruled null and void by a decision of the Supreme Court, Congress MUST vote on and ultimately adopt Sen. Hutchison's "Time Out on ObamaCare" Act, bold legislation that would impose a moratorium on further implementation of ObamaCare the until the courts render a final judicial decision of its constitutionality.

This post is not about what she wore on vacation, this is about a federal lawsuit concerning her extravagant African safari,    Judicial Watch requested several in June, 2011, information concerning cost to taxpayers of several vacations Michelle had taken.  The government let the official request EXPIRE on August 3, so Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit over the federal government’s refusal to disclose how much taxpayers spent to send Michelle Obama on a "family outing" that included a safari in Africa, and several other trips.

JUDICIAL WATCH has filed a lawsuit over the federal government's refusal to disclose how much taxpayers spent to send Michelle Obama on a "family outing" that included a safari in Africa.

The organization, which investigates and fights government corruption, earlier DOCUMENTED WHAT APPEARS TO MANY TO BETHE EXTRAVAGANT SPENDING by then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.  Records showed Pelosi cost taxpayers $101,000 for in-flight food and alcohol over a period in 2008 and 2009.  At one point she instructed the Air Force to provide chocolate-covered strawberries for a snack, since it was her birthday.  "Dark chocolate preferred" was the order.

Now Judicial Watch wants to know what taxpayers are spending for Michelle Obama's vacations.

"How much did the American people spend to send the First Lady on a family outing in Africa?  That's what we want to know," said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.  "On the surface, the trip seems to have been totally unnecessary and was as much an excuse for the Obama family to go on a safari as it was a mission intended to advance the nation's business in Africa."

The organization requested information in June regarding the expenses for the trip.  The request included records for the mission taskings for the June 21-27 trip to South Africa and Botswana, the transportation costs and all passenger manifests for the trip.

The government had until Aug. 3 to respond, but did not, so Judicial Watch now has followed up with a lawsuit.

"The professed purpose of Mrs. Obama's trip was to encourage young people living in South Africa and Botswana to get involved in national affairs," the Judicial Watch report said.  "The First Lady's remarks focused on education, health and wellness issues.

"However, accompanied by her daughters Malia and Sasha, her mother, Marian Robinson, and her niece and nephew, Leslie and Avery Robinson, the trip also included such tourist events as visits to historical landmarks and museums as well as a visit with Nelson Mandela," the Judicial Watch report said.

"The trip ended with a private family safari at a South African game reserve before the group returned to Washington on June 27," Judicial Watch said.  The organization noted that the WHITE HOUSE DOSSIER, a blog by White House reporter Keith Koffer, said the cost to taxpayers for a C-32 aircraft for the trip alone was $430,000.

This cost, JW reported, was based on an estimated charge of $12,723 an hour, which is what the Department of Defense charges other federal agencies to use that airplane. If a military cargo plane was included – which is typical for Michelle Obama's trips– the transportation alone could have cost another $200,000.

Additionally, there would be costs for Secret Service protection, the care and feeding of a numerous staff members, pre-trip staff work and others categories.

Judicial Watch reported earlier that a "date night" for the Obamas – for a New York dinner and Broadway show– cost taxpayers more than $11,000 in Secret Service expenses alone.

Judicial Watch said it is investigating such costs "in the face of a ballooning federal debt and a sinking economy."

Family Vacation in Spain on Taxpayer's Dime

The announcement about the court case came just a day after THE DAILY MAIL in the United Kingdom touted the 10 million in public money Michelle Obama has spent on her "vacations."

"Branding her “disgusting” and “a vacation junkie,” [reports] say the 47-year-old mother-of-two has been indulging in five-star hotels, where she splashes out on expensive massages and alcohol," the London paper said.

The report said Michelle Obama is believed to have taken 42 days of vacation in the last year, including a respite in Spain that cost $375,000 and a $2,000-a-night ski trip to Vail, Colo.

 The family currently is on another vacation, at Blue Heron Farm on Martha's Vineyard, where the rental fees are estimated at $50,000 a week.

The paper reported the situation was aggravated because the Obamas took separate airplanes to the Massachusetts retreat – even though they traveled the same day.

Also, the report cited figures from a Hawaii Reporter investigation into the Obamas' trip to Hawaii last winter, where the costs were $63,000 to bring Michelle Obama to town ahead of the president, $38,000 for a beach property rental, $134,000 for staff members to stay in a nearby hotel and $251,000 in police overtime

THE WHITE HOUSE DOSSIER report explained South African U.S. Embassy spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau confirmed the African trip was partly personal.

"She's coming on this trip to talk about women's development and youth development, and South Africa is a leader in that, not only on the continent but globally," Trudeau said in the report.  "A visit to South Africa is important for them as a family.  She'll be visiting many struggle-era landmarks, including the Apartheid Museum (and) the Hector Pieterson Memorial."

PELOSI’S EXTRAVAGANT SPENDING HABITS first came to light through Judicial Watch efforts, revealing the $101,000 that taxpayers spent for in-flight food and alcohol for her during that time period.

It was last year Pelosi requested that STRAWBERRIES BEPROVIDED for a special treat on her Air Force transport because it was her birthday. Not just any strawberries: chocolate-covered strawberries. "Dark chocolate preferred."

Then there was a follow-up report from Judicial Watch that more taxpayer money – hundreds of thousands of dollars – were spent in the months before Pelosi handed the gavel over to Rep. John Boehner as Republicans took control of the House following the 2010 election.

Among the receipts: $130 from a Detroit store for popcorn, cheese puffs, Hershey's milk chocolate kisses, peanuts, Snickers minis, Nilla wafers, ginger snaps, mixed nuts, dry roasted peanuts, M&M peanuts, Kraft caramels and crackers.

That order apparently was connected to a congressional delegation trip to Detroit that cost some $24,000 in air travel expenses plus another $10,000 in miscellaneous expenses.

The records, which are linked on JUDICIAL WATCH’S WEBSITE, include flight manifests, expense summaries, copies of receipts and congressional correspondence for Pelosi's trips in 2010.

There's not a grand total for the expenditures because of the nature of the reporting:  Sometimes there were reimbursements listed for members of Pelosi's family traveling with her, and it was unclear whether those reimbursements were paid.

The individual files of 50 to 100 pages of details are posted online in three parts:

The details include information on a May 6-10, 2010, trip to Afghanistan and Germany "to discuss issues of mutual interest in Qatar and Afghanistan, as well as conduct oversight on women's issues (troops) in Afghanistan and to visit with US troops and meet with government officials in Germany."

Tab for the military travel?  $204,135.

And Pelosi "made a personal request that the 'maximum per diem allowance be made available at the enhanced rate of an additional $50.”  Also uncovered were "numerous" trips by Pelosi between San Francisco and Andrews Air Force Base.

"Several of these trips included members of Speaker Pelosi's family, including her husband, daughter, granddaughters and son-in-law."

The Detroit trip? Costs were $24,336 for commercial air travel and another $10,046 in "expenses."

The Pentagon also paid for military escorts for the trip, the report noted.  Earlier reports documented that PELOSI HAD SPENT $2,100,744.59 in military travel costs in a single two-year period.  That included the $101,429.14 taxpayers paid for "in-flight expenses, including food and alcohol."

"For example, purchases for one Pelosi-led congressional delegation traveling from Washington, D.C., through Tel Aviv, Israel to Baghdad, Iraq, May 15-20, 2008, included:  Johnny Walker Red scotch, Grey Goose vodka, E&J brandy, Bailey's Irish Crème, Maker's Mark whiskey, Courvoisier cognac, Bacardi Light rum, Jim Beam whiskey, Beefeater gin, Dewars scotch, Bombay Sapphire gin, Jack Daniels whiskey, Corona beer and several bottles of wine," Judicial Watch reported.

When George Bush invaded Iraq, anti-war zealots hit the streets raising forty-leven kinds of hell:  “Bush lied; people died,” rang across the land.  Bush acted on intelligence gathered and agreed to by the U.N., Great Britain, and virtually all U.S. allies.  Bush obtained approval from Congress to take whatever action he deemed necessary.  He tried, in vain, to get U.N. approval.  He set a time and date.  He invaded.  And, the Progressive anti-war zealots went crazy.

When Barack Obama invaded Libya, the anti-war zealots were non- existent.  Obama had NO intelligence suggesting that Libya was a threat to the U.S.  He did NOT bother to even ASK FOR APPROVAL from Congress as is required by the War Powers Act.  He told no one;  he just unleashed millions of dollars of bombs and missiles on a tiny country that could not possibly do us harm.  The anti-war Progressives looked the other way, and said nothing.

Obama said he was acting in response to the U.N., that the action would be a matter of days, not weeks.  That was six months ago, and the U.S. is still involved.  Obama lied; people died, and the Progressive anti-war zealots said nothing.

Where is CINDY SHEEHAN? Why is she not camping out in front of Obama’s Chicago home, as she camped out in front of Bush’s Texas home?

Could it be that Progressives are hypocrites?

In March, 2006, both Senators Barack Obama and Harry Reid condemned George Bush’s request to raise the debt ceiling, claiming that the request was a “failure of leadership.”  Both voted against raising the debt ceiling.  But in 2011, both condemned the Republicans for objecting to raising the debt ceiling, claiming that failure to raise the ceiling was “irresponsible.”

Obama promised that no lobbyists would be allowed in his administration, but then proceeded to ALLOW LOBBYISTS TO FILL HIS ADMINISTRATION

Obama said that President Bush and the Republicans “drove the economy into the ditch”.  He failed to mention the economic disaster caused by the terrorist attacks on 9/11, or the two wars, or Hurricane Katrina – all of which were unexpected and took a heavy toll on the treasury.  After nearly three years under Obama’s control and stewardship, the economy is in much worse shape than ever, and he is quick to blame Bush, an earthquake in Japan, high gas prices, and instability in the Middle East.

Sickening - just sickening, hypocrisy.

Here is a POST ON FACTCHECK.ORG http://www.factcheck.org/2011/04/factchecking-obamas-budget-speech/  that provides a few indicators of just how Obama’s economic policies have worsened the economy.  Note that the price of gasoline increased from $1.838 on January 10, 2009, to $3.111 on January 20, 2011.  The price has continued to rise, reaching $4.00 per gallon in some parts of the country.  Despite this dramatic price increase, and the instability in the Middle East, Obama and his Progressive administration refuse to allow development of domestic oil, and continue to promote a carbon tax.  Obama’s EPA is even trying to implement stricter emission-control regulations by rule, to further restrict the availability of gasoline.

Obama and his media machine TALK ENDLESSLY ABOUT CREATING JOBS, but in reality, he refuses to unleash more than 750,000 new jobs that would be created by opening domestic oil reserves.  Instead, he has INCREASED FEDERAL EMPLOYMENT by more than 230,000 jobs, guaranteeing those votes for himself, while the public sector lost 7.5 million jobs.  Moreover, he has doubled the number of federal jobs that pay in excess of $150.000 per year, while income in the public sector has decreased since he took office.

Progressives are hypocrites.  Their only concern is to prevail, regardless of what it takes.  The end always justifies any means that may be required.  The Progressive Obama administration has clearly demonstrated its belief in this principle.  It has lied, deceived, distorted, manipulated, pointed fingers, and still, the economy worsens, America’s standing in the world continues to fall, and all the Obama administration is concerned about is getting re-elected in 2012.

What kind of unmitigated gall is required to declare that his three-day campaign tour through the Midwest is not a campaign tour, but a perfectly legal tax-funded tour to meet and talk to the people?  And when that’s complete, he will bypass the tax-paid vacation retreat at Camp David, and go instead to a mansion on Cape Cod where he can commiserate with all the people who can’t find a job, and who can’t make next month’s mortgage payment.

Progressives are hypocrites who must be removed from the federal government.

Migraines, ‘Magic Shots’ And Lies Perpetrated By Conventional Medicine

"I have a friend who suffers from migraines (not Rep. Michele Bachmann, though I’m sure she’s a delightful person).  The young lady of whom I speak has suffered from this condition for most of her life.  Unlike the afore mentioned Presidential candidate from Minnesota, my friend’s migraines are often debilitating.  For years, she sought answers from Conventional Medicine, until she got some unusual advice in an emergency room.

The young lady in question recently visited her local emergency room twice in the space of five days for two separate migraines.  On the first visit she was given a shot, often referred to as the “magic shot,” which consisted of Phenergan and “enough Demerol to bring down a bull elephant” — the words of the on-call physician.  The shot made her fall asleep for about three hours, after which she awoke and suffered for an additional 26 hours before the migraine abated.   All told, that migraine lasted for 72 hours.

On the second visit, she was attended by a nurse practitioner (NP).  This man, she told me, was different.   After she explained her current symptoms and related her experience during the first visit, the NP closed the door to her room.

“Do you want to have the shot,” he asked, “or do you want to get better?”

Taken aback, my friend replied that she wanted a treatment that worked.  The NP then explained that, in the fast-paced world of emergency rooms, most medical professionals assume the people who come in complaining of migraines just want the “magic shot.”

“If they’re drug seeking, it’s faster to just give them the drugs,” he explained.   “I never prescribe opioids for real migraines.”

In all the years my friend had been visiting emergency rooms, she had always received a shot.  Sometimes it worked, sometimes not.  Never, not once, had she been told that she was being treated like a mere drug addict.

It turns out, Demerol (chemical name meperidine) does not cure migraines, and hospitals know this.

“Despite guidelines recommending against opioids as first line treatment for acute migraine, meperidine is the agent used most commonly in North American emergency departments,” read a study reported in Annals of Emergency Medicine, a peer-reviewed medical journal.

The study concluded that: “Meperidine is less efficacious and associated with more side effects than DHE regimens in acute migraine headache.  There was also a trend towards decreased efficacy of meperidine compared to anti-emetics.  Clinicians should consider alternatives to meperidine when treating acute migraine with injectable agents.”

The NP instead prescribed for my friend what he called “the migraine cocktail” — Benadryl, Compazine and Toradol, given intravenously with a liter of fluids. This remedy contained no narcotics and was relatively mild as far as prescription drugs go (although prescription drugs should be avoided, of course).  Because this treatment takes an hour to administer, emergency rooms rarely offer it, choosing to just give migraine sufferers the shot.  While I applaud the NP’s non-use of opioids, I would add that at least one study has found that a popular supplement, coenzyme Q10, may be successful in preventing migraines.

A 2004 study reported at the American Academy of Neurology’s annual meeting found that migraine patients who took 100 mg three times a day of CoQ10 — which acts as the body’s energy producer — had fewer attacks in three months than those who took a placebo.  The participants taking CoQ10 also had fewer days with a headache and fewer days with nausea.

My friend’s migraine was gone within half an hour of being treated with the “migraine cocktail,” but when she spoke to me she felt sick — over the way she had been treated by the medical community through the years."

I agree with, and thank the author for the article.  My only disagreement is with the title, specifically “…Lies Perpetrated By Conventional Medicine.”  I think a more correct accusation would be “…Inefficient Medical Care Perpetrated by Cost Considerations Pressure from Hospital Administrators and federal Government Intrusions.”  This is what ALWAYS happens when any “non medical administration” takes control of the details of medical treatment.  Treatment effectiveness drops immediately and precipitously, as we see now, and as we will REALLY see if ObamaCare is not repealed.  Most physicians apply their oath “First do no harm” to their medical practice whereas non-medical adminstrators and government promote “First show me the money”.  

And if ObamaCare is instituted we will see “Only BIG MONEY will receive the best medical treatment”.  That is why the wealthiest of the sick drive to America from Canada for their medical treatment.  Wealthy Brits would also drive here if there was a highway, but the wealthy Brits are forced to fly here.  Muslim oil potentates, and the ultra rich jet set come to America in droves to take advantage of the best medical care in the world.  What an American citizen advantage – to receive the best medical care in the world, without having to travel to another country to get it!  Have you ever read of anyone going to any country with socialized medicine to get their medical care, other than cheap, contaminated cosmetic botox injections in Tjuana, which then usually require American medical care to resolve the infections?  The next time you have a doctor's appointment, ask him/her what their opinion is of ObamaCare or Socialized medicine.

Why are Obama and Congress exempted from ObamaCare?  Why has the federal government handed out THOUSANDS of ObamaCare waivers to states, unions, McDonalds, federal employees and other major backers and major supporters of Obamacare, like AARP, the whole State of Maine (Obama payback for support), the whole state of Nevada (Harry Reid's state), waivers are pending from the whole states Kentucky, New Hampshire,  and EVERY constituent of Nancy Pelosi in the state California?  

In September, 2010, Obamacare promoter and democrat Rep Ron Wyden applied for a special oregon waiver from the very federal mandate he supported and advocated for everyone else!

Oh yes, and by the way, ALL Muslims are exempted from suffering ObamaCare!

Looks like Obama has paid back most of his major Obamacare supporters?  As of June 2011 there have been 1,471 waivers approved, covering 3.2 million citizens.  Waivers are so sought after, that the federal government is ending their waiver program on September 22, 2011.  See Michelle Malkin's waiver post here.

If ObamaCare is not repealed there will be an age limit to qualify for many high cost medical treatments which are available to ANYONE without consideration of age, now.  Remember that in the absence of premature death, EVERYONE will at some point in their life reach the “old age” category.

Don't Vote For Boehner's Harry Reid "Clone"

Representatives, you must pass the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011.  Do not pass Speaker Boehner’s “clone” of Harry Reid’s plan!

Speaker Boehner’s proposal contains only modest differences from the one prepared by Senator Harry Reid.  Are you sure you want to join forces with the direction that Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are dragging our country?

Yesterday, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), scored the Boehner proposal and found the majority of "cuts" over the next ten years were “back-loaded”, meaning they aren't likely to EVER occur, whereas the debt ceiling would be raised by $1 trillion IMMEDIATELY.

Perhaps the MOST shocking aspect was the CBO found that Speaker Boehner's proposal only cut $1 BILLION in FY 2012!

That's right, a mere $1 billion dollars – ONE THOUSANTH of the debt ceiling raise Boehner proposes immediately!

The Cut, Cap, and Balance Act of 2011 meets ALL requirements INCLUDING compromise to President Obama’s demand of a debt ceiling raise of $2.4 TRILLION.  It has passed the US HOUSE and only requires a US Senate vote, it meets the Moody criteria for avoiding American credit rating reduction, it compromises to allow Obama’s military budget reduction.  It provides for a Balanced Budget, and future spending cuts requiring OUR government to “live within OUR means”, because the federal government HAS NO MEANS other than taking more and more of our money as taxpayers!  Obama lies when he states that the Republican plan refuses to compromise!

Time To Make Obama Cry

"In 2006, every Democrat Senator (including Senator Barack Obama) voted against raising the debt ceiling. Among the reasons Obama listed for voting against it was that doing so would be “a sign that the U.S. government can’t pay its own bills” and “a sign that we [were dependent] on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies.”

Of course, that was under George W. Bush. But now that Obama is president, and the debt ceiling of $14.3 trillion is about to end the spending spree Democrats have been on since January 2009, Obama has reversed course [AGAIN]. Now, he not only favors raising the debt ceiling but also talks as if our nation’s very continuance depends upon doing so.

The truth, of course, is that Obama’s legacy and re-election are on the line and he knows it.

Thus everything we’re hearing from him about raising the debt ceiling is nothing more than the cry of a president who has spent his country into oblivion and is looking for a way to avoid the blame for doing so.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (who also voted against raising the debt limit in 2006) is doing his best to lie to the public to save Obama from the consequences of reckless spending by pressuring Republicans into supporting the idea of raising the debt limit. To do this, he is giving them a fictional narrative of what life will be like if we decide to live within our means instead of continuing to spend money as fast as we can print it:

“Default won’t just roil the financial markets, pushing interest rates higher, and tank the stock markets; it will affect every American’s wallet as well. Here are a few things that will happen. Social Security checks and veterans’ benefits and paychecks to our troops would stop.”

Folks, think about it: This is a grand slam for Republicans. They can win by simply saying “no.”

And this is why all eyes are on House Speaker John Boehner.  If he can rally the Republicans in Congress to oppose raising the debt ceiling he will literally end any chance Obama has of being re-elected. That’s how big the stakes are in the current debt ceiling talks.

By the way, Obama knows this is true. And that’s why he’s pressuring Speaker Boehner and the rest of the Republicans to come his way.  (It’s also why he’s making outlandish claims about how “80%” of the American people want to pay higher taxes.)

Pay attention: Obama’s entire economic team has left. “A bunch of czars have left,” and Defense Secretary Gates left. Although it’s normal for a few members of an administration to move on and pursue moneymaking opportunities in the private sector, Rush Limbaugh accurately described the defections from the Obama administration as “a greater exodus than is common.”

In other words, Obama’s people have decided to jump ship rather than to go down with it.

Look folks, we literally have Obama right where we want him. Not only is he beatable, he has actually already beat himself by spending this country into the ground. Now is no time to do him a favor by raising the debt ceiling and letting him off the hook.

Speaker Boehner has the power to sink Obama’s ship, and he needs to go ahead and sink it right now by voting “no” on raising the debt limit."

Medicare is For ALL of Us - NOT Just Seniors!

We must transform Medicare into a retirement program that is protected from Federal criminal misuse of the funds contributed by taxpayers!  This way it can protect EVERY  participant's investment - not just the current seniors who have suffered tragic federal mis-appropriation of their contributions.  It can then also protect the babies born this year when they become senior citizens and need the funds they will have contributed into a new, PROTECTED Medicare system.


President Obama is trying to destroy the Medicare system so the government will have their hands on the throats of all of us forced into ObamaCare, if he can prevent ObamaCare's demise.  For those of you who are on Medicare, read the article below. It is about the monthly amount of money you are going to pay in Medicare premiums in 2011, 2012 and the huge increase you will pay in 2013. It's a short but very important article: 

Congress will not allow an increase in the social security COLA (cost of living adjustment); however, the per person monthly Medicare insurance premiums are being increased as follows:

2009 premium of $96.40

2012 premium of $104.20

2013 premium of $120.20

And increases to a whopping $247.00 in 2014!

Congress also gave themselves a $3,000 a month Cost of Living Adjustment!

Obama must be defeated in 2012 in order to have a chance to repeal ObamaCare.  If that doesn't happen, the only chance to stop ObamaCare will be to use Nullification on the State level, or get a federal waiver.  Government officials, most Unions, Senator's  Pelosi's districts,  and Senator Reid's whole state!

"Hear that? It's the escalating cry of American employers and workers trying to hold on to their health care benefits in the age of stifling Obama health insurance mandates: Gangway! Gangway! Save me! Waive me!

Obamacare refugees first began beating down the exit doors in October 2010. As I've documented since last fall, waiver-mania started with McDonald's and Jack in the Box; spread to Dish Networks, hair salon chain Regis Corp and resort giant Universal Orlando; took hold among every major Big Labor organization from the AFL-CIO to the CWA to the SEIU; roped in the nationalized health care promoters at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (whose board of trustees includes health care czar Nancy Ann DeParle); and is now gripping entire states (Maine, New Hampshire and Nevada all recently got in on the act).

The latest to catch the waive? West Coast liberals.

Yes, smack dab in the middle of House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi's congressional district, a cluster of San Francisco small businesses is among the latest recipients of get-out-of-Obamacare passes. As Jamie Dupree of Cox Media Group and Matthew Boyle of The Daily Caller pointed out this week, there are at least two dozen Bay Area companies -- including bars, restaurants, hotels, tourist shops, real estate and auto firms -- that have secured temporary, one-year reprieves from the federal law. It's the San Francisco Treat that voters didn't foresee until after the bill was rammed down their throats.

Another noteworthy waiver winner: Seattle-based REI. The trendy Pacific Northwest outdoor equipment retailer's progressive CEO and Democratic campaign donor, Sally Jewell, appeared with President Obama in 2009 to tout White House health care reform initiatives. Two years later, REI snagged a waiver to protect the health benefits of a whopping 1,180 workers from the very tentacles of the big government bureaucrats Jewell embraced at Obama's roundtable.

To date, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has granted federal health care law exemptions to more than three million American workers covered by more than 1,300 unions, companies and insurers who had voluntarily offered low-cost health plans with annual benefits limits. Meddling Obamacare architects outlawed those private plans -- nicknamed "mini med" plans -- in the name of "patients' rights." But without special waivers, the escapees would have been forced to hike premiums or drop insurance coverage altogether for mostly low-wage, seasonal and part-time workers.

Among the most recent union affiliates to secure pardons from the one-size-fits-all health policy that their bosses spent hundreds of millions of dollars of worker dues lobbying for:

- Teamsters Local 485 Health and Welfare Fund in Brooklyn, N.Y.

- Detroit and Vicinity Trowel Trades Health and Welfare Fund_

- Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 1182 Security Benefits Fund_

- CWA Local 1183 Health and Welfare Fund

- Bakers Union and Food Employees Labor Relations Association Health and Welfare Fund

- Service Employees International Union Healthcare Illinois Home Care and Child Care Fund

- United Food and Commercial Workers San Diego Employers Health and Welfare Trust

- Welfare Fund of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 15, 15A, 15C, 15D AFL-CIO

- United Steelworkers Local 1-0318 Health and Welfare Trust Fund

- United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices Local 198 AFL-CIO Health and Welfare Trust

- Teamsters Local 617 Welfare Fund in Ridgefield, N.J.

- Teamsters Local 734 Welfare Fund in Chicago

- Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 60 Health and Welfare Fund

- New York State Nurses Welfare Plan for New York City Employed Registered Professional Nurses

The ultimate goal, it bears repeating, is to force a massive, revolutionary and irreversible shift from private to public insurance designed by government-knows-best bureaucrats.

Pelosi and the Golden Ticket Administrators in Washington deny preferential treatment for waiver beneficiaries. But the stench of waivers-for-favors won't be dispelled until and unless the Obama administration releases a full list not only of those who won exemptions, but also of those who applied and were denied.

With San Francisco businesses caught with their hands in the waiver jar, Pelosi's office could do nothing else but pout: "It is pathetic," said Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill, "that there are those who would be cheering for Americans to lose their minimum health coverage or see their premiums increase for political purposes."

It is far more pathetic to have cheered, as Pelosi did on the one-year anniversary of Obamacare, the law's onerous benefits limits from which thousands of her own constituents have now been exempted.

Once again, the rest of America wants to know: Dude, where's my waiver?"
